Artist's Statement

I am inspired by the unique and very special gifts that are in nature.  I also feel connected to old and weathered items -  such as an old door that has been painted and has peeled countless times.  It has also been touched and opened by thousands of hands - leaving history.  Mistakes and corrections are inspiring as well.  My work reflects this. Perfection is over rated. I also listen  to nature and movement sounds, and bring those feelings and expression to my work as well.  My goal is to use my art to allow viewers to feel and remember wonderful experiences and memories in their lives.
